Before the session

Read Days 21, 23 and 29 (about five minutes each), or Module 3 on the cheat sheet.

The 30 minutes

  1. 0–5 minOpen

Quick round, no blame: which AI tools have you used for work this month, on any account?

  2. 5–15 minDiscuss three days
  3. 15–25 minExercise: Green, amber, red

Each person names three kinds of information they handle in a normal week. Sort them into green, amber and red on the board, with a real example for each. Where people disagree, use the stricter colour until someone checks.

  4. 25–30 minAction for the week

Each person checks one AI tool they use for work and brings back whether it's a free, personal or business plan, and what its data settings say.

Agree the team rule: “Report fast. Fix fast. Learn.”

Watch for

Reaching for a ban because it feels safer (Day 21). The use just moves where you can't see it, so aim for rules people can follow.

You’ll need

A whiteboard or shared doc with green, amber and red columns, and a timer.

Next session: Module 4 · Data protection & POPIA. Bring the colour-coded list from today, and what you found in your tool's settings.
