Before the session

Read Days 31, 36 and 40 (about five minutes each), or Module 4 on the cheat sheet.

The 30 minutes

1. 0–5 minOpen

   Quick round: what's a document you had to read this month that you wish someone had summarised for you?

2. 5–15 minDiscuss three days
   • Day 31: Shorter, not different.When we rely on an AI summary, how would we know what it dropped, softened or reordered?
   • Day 36: Where did that come from?Where have we used a fact from AI without being able to point to where it came from?
   • Day 40: Trust, but check.Which numbers, names and dates in our documents would cause real trouble if they were wrong?
3. 15–25 minExercise: Check the summary

   Take one real document the team uses, with anything sensitive removed. Ask AI for a summary, then split the team to trace every number, name and date back to the source. Note anything missing or changed.

4. 25–30 minAction for the week

   Each person runs one document task this week with sourcing in the prompt, traces the risky bits, and brings back anything it got wrong.

   Agree the team rule: “Numbers, names, dates. Check them every time.”
