The team leaves with a clear idea of what each Scrum event should decide, and one change to how we run them.
Read Days 13, 14 and 16 (about five minutes each), or Module 2 on the cheat sheet.
Quick round: which of our regular meetings last ended in a real decision?
Take the current sprint's items. Each person writes the sprint goal in one sentence, alone, in two minutes. Compare, then agree one version the team could use to decide what to drop if the sprint goes wrong.
Use the agreed goal at every daily meeting this week, and note one moment it helped the team decide something.
Agree the team rule: “Every event ends in a decision.”
A goal that is just a list of tickets (Day 13). If every item must be finished to meet it, push for the outcome behind them.
The current sprint backlog, a whiteboard or shared doc, and a timer.
Next session: Module 3 · Kanban & flow. Bring the sprint goal from today and one example of it in use.
