Before the session

Read Days 61, 62 and 63 (about five minutes each), or Module 7 on the cheat sheet.

The 30 minutes

1. 0–5 minOpen

   Quick round: the last piece of work where done meant different things to different people.

2. 5–15 minDiscuss three days
   • Day 61: Write specs people actually read.Would someone joining next month understand why we're building our current work from what we've written down?
   • Day 62: Define done before you build.Where have we argued about whether something was done, and what would a clear yes or no have looked like?
   • Day 63: Ship the thinnest slice that works.What's the thinnest slice of our current work that someone could actually use?
3. 15–25 minExercise: Slice it thin

   Take one piece of upcoming work and break it into three vertical slices, each usable on its own. Write two Given, When, Then acceptance criteria for the first slice, including one unhappy path.

4. 25–30 minAction for the week

   The owner of the first slice turns today's notes into a one-page spec using the Day 61 headings, and everyone else adds one open question to it.

   Agree the team rule: “If you can't test it, it isn't done.”
