The team leaves with a clearer sense of how safe it is to raise bad news, who decides what, and a first set of working agreements.
Read Days 82, 83 and 88 (about five minutes each), or Module 9 on the cheat sheet.
Quick round: one thing that makes it easier for you to say you're stuck.
Each person writes two or three working agreements alone, in three minutes. Group the similar ones, then agree five to ten the whole team can live with. Put them where everyone can see them.
The team tries its working agreements for a week, and each person notes one that helped and one that needs changing.
Agree the team rule: “Make bad news safe to say early.”
Agreements handed down by a manager (Day 88). If the team didn't write them, they won't stick, so let the team's words stand.
Sticky notes or a shared doc, and a timer.
Next session: Module 10 · Transformation. Bring the working agreements, with notes on what to change.
